Chinese Elm are my Personal Favorite Species for Bonsai.
The Mass Produced S Bent Commercial Chinese Elm Seem to Give them a Bad Wrap to Their True Specimen Potential.
My Favorite Cultivar of Chinese Elm are These, Seiju and Frosty... Both Dwarf Varieties Almost form a Natural Bonsai.
I Have 1 Seiju and x2 Frosty 'Lois Hole' Elms Approx. 13-15 Years Old. They Were Planted in the Ground About 10 Years Ago.

The #2nd Frosty Elm I Just Recently Found Growing. It Popped Up, Where I Cut the Root off to Move the Tree to be Planted in the Ground.
