Can someone direct me to a website where I can buy Japanese Maples (barefoot, liners), either from seed or grafted.
I’m in southern Indiana and trying to build JM inventory in my backyard nursery.
Thanks!

@Maples N More Nursery offers liners every spring. I’m not sure if they are already done with them for this year.

Thanks for the tip, Mateo.
I currently purchase from MaplesNMore, and they are great. However, I’m looking for additional resources as I continue to learn about JMs.
Do you have any other recommendations? I’d really appreciate it.
I have about 200 JMs, nearly all in containers and mostly non grafted. I have purchased from about four nurseries in recent years.

Those liners from Horace are all grafted. Can you be a little more specific about what you are looking for? Are you more interested in rooted cuttings or grafted but unusual cultivars? 1 gallon grafted JM around here start at about $30 per... and many nurseries ask for more.

Thanks so much for the responses.
I’m looking for “seedlings,” I suppose.
Horace’s grafts are great. But I’m also looking for 1-3 foot non grafted JM that I can buy 75-100 at a time without breaking my budget.
Less than $3-$4 per tree is ideal.
I’ve had some luck with a great nursery in Oregon, but only one so far.
I’ve been buying 100-150 non cultivar and grafted JMs each year for about three years now and just looking for additional resources, while still buying from Horace.
I’d like to have a fairly significant inventory (for a backyard nursery) in the future.
Thanks, again, for any input.
This forum is really great.

I wish I could help you out. I am not aware of anyone selling JM seedlings in quantity. I know some nurseries who have them - but they typically are only growing them out for their own personal use as root stock for cultivars. There really isn't a retail market for them... so nurseries tend to grow a bunch in some beds and pull them as they need them.

The folks at MaplesNMore have treated me great.
I have purchased 14 cultivars from them in the past few years.
Their Mikawa Yatdubusas and Coral Magic are small, but look wonderful leafing out in recent weeks.
Guess I’m just trying to find out if there are more nurseries out there doing what Horace does.
Or, a nursery that will sell 2-3 year old non cultivars for not too much $.

Heritage seedlings is a source but I think they are mostly wholesale.
