Finally decided to take some classes

Yep, I decided to sign up for the Kaikou Bonsai School at NEBG next year.

Ive done pretty good with repotting, pruning and keeping things alive, but my recent experience (or lack there of) with my JBP made me realize that I need help getting to the next step. Ive gotten to the point where reading books and forums, while good learning, cant substitute for hands on learning. So before I ruin one of my better trees with my inexperience, Im going to take some classes and Im looking forward to it.

Your skills will definitely improve. Pry all the knowledge you can from a John he's a great teacher. It's possible that your class and one of our club meetings will overlap next year so maybe we can meet in person.

Great decision Paradox. There's just isn't anything that can compete with on hands experience. Have fun!

Yes, I think you'll love it. In did some online lessons from John, and even online he's a good and patient teacher. Makes everything very understandable. Good decision to move yourself forward. Lucky you live near enough.

Good for you I hope you achieve all that you set out to achieve in doing this. I don't know John except by reputation and I am sure you will grow under his tutelage.
