Field maple leaves

Hello everyone,
I am training a couple of field maples that I got from a nursery stock last year.
I think they are 2-3yos.
This is their first spring with me and I noticed that the leaves are quite sturdy for one sapling whdress saggy/flabby in the others
Do you have experience in this species? Do you think it’s normal or a problem in watering/feeding?
I attached two pics to show the different tone in the leaves.

Those are normal looking leaves for that age of sampling, have you fertilized?

yes, i m using a 7-3-5 solution but I m thinking if using a specialised 4-6-6 bonsai solution.

I tried 15-3-3 on mine, they look around the same age

Also, in one of mine I noticed a leaf scorch, not sure if do to the last sunny and warm days or due to over/under watering/feeding.
Do you have any readings I can consult on field maples?

It could be over watering, i'm going to be cutting back on mine for a little bit its in the green house now.
I can see a few brownish bits on the leaves of mine and I know the soil has been wet a little too long after the storm here the other night.

Can you protect yours from the rain? is the soil dense in the pots you have them in?

They look happy. Simolar to mine. Just the exposure to the elements may cause differences or the mount of water/fertilizer. I would not worry for now.

Hi,
the soil is a bonsai potting mix by westland cut with sharp sand and potting grit by RHS. it is a well draining mix.
It hasnt rained for a couple of weeks and I watered manually every two days due to very warm weather. It is also the period in which the sapling need water for their growth.
But maybe they need less.
Thanks for all the pics, hopefully, it seems a normal behaviour.

S’all good. I‘ve got 4 collected from within a couple of miles of each other. Each has different sized, shaped and hanging/sagging leaves.
