Ficus over watering?

Can someone give me advice on why they think the leaves have turned light green?

Did they turn light green or is that new growth that has not turned dark yet (not hardened off yet)?

Here if they get to much direct sun any Ficus we have shows lighter leaf a lot. There is one on a higher shelf in the yard I recently told my Wife needs to go lower and get less Sun. The one I am talking about is a Willow leaf but as I told here if she moves any type she has to that spot it will do the same. Seems odd but been working that way for some of them for close to 20 years.

Same thing applies to a lot of other plants here and the yellowing normally occurs during the hottest time of Summer - less sun = more green.

Of course it "could be" other things but yours looks healthy to me

Looks to be new growth not maturing yet. Fertilizing on a weekly basis with water soluble fertilizer would be a good routine to get into anyway to prevent future issues of actual yellowing leaves. Also, what is up with that soil, get it into a good bonsai mix.

Thanks guys. I guess I was freaking out for nothing. I just never noticed it being like that before. Also yeah the soil is not the best. I been using pea gravel,pine bark and a little potting soil. I can't seem to find better supply's around here. The lava rock is always the huge kind. I have not been at this long so any suggestions would be wonderful. I have a lows, Walmart and home Depot near by. I read somewhere where it didn't matter so much that I used the pea gravel that it just weighs alot. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks guys!

Maybe add some pumice(farm supply store, dry stall) and leave off putting in the potting soil.

You could spark a soil war very easily with all the various opinions on the matter. I find many of the components very difficult to find as well, but you always have the option of buying online and shipping it to your home, little pricier, but worth it in the long run. Research your soil options carefully before deciding what is best, use the search functions on this site.

And it's perfectly healthy. Full sun.

For reference, here's what I assume was too much rainwater for my F. benjamina this past Feb. One older and 3 rooted cuttings all lost their leaves at the same time. But they all survived. None of my other ficus species dropped their leaves.
