My new girlfriend is interested in bonsai. She's went to a club meeting with me and last weekend went to a nursery with me checking out plants. She liked a little ficus benjamina and this (in my opinion) gross green pot. I ends up getting a different plant as the one she pointed out was very juvenile. I cleaned the root system up and repotted it Sunday afternoon. I'm going to give it to her tonight. I don't think she realizes I bought it for her since I was there for projects if like to eventually sell.

what a charming gift. If she's into bonsai she must be a keeper ;)

I think she wants to be a keeper...;) Check my benjamina ( I am sure you know where)
And I did this little one but it is very new ( just started it recently) and small///Natasha or baby variety. Dont like the stone arrangement also but will change it when repotting.
You can make a nice tree from it fast...but not too fast so you run out of extra excuses to visit her in order to style it...

Nice little twin trunk ficus you have there. I hope it does well for her.
