Hi
Hoping someone maybe able to tell me if I am giving this ficus to much/not enough water/light.

Typically I have been watering once a day and misting it a few times a day. It siting in a South West window on a heat mat because of the cold. I have only had it for three weeks now. It seems to have been losing color and dropped some leaves.

Hmm, it might be adjusting to its new home as Ficus are known to drop leaves when changing environments. Maybe try the chopstick method to guage watering needs but it looks like well draining soil and assuming drainage holes on bottom of pot? Sunny window should be good but might consider supplement light. Keep track of your variables and read the plant on what is telling you and you'll find the magic recipe of what it likes in your environment.

Agree that ficus are known to drop leaves in response to change of conditions so it is probably just adjusting to it's new home.
It is not possible to tell if light is enough after just a few weeks and without knowing how sunny your window actually is.
Note the pot is sitting in a drip tray. Make sure the soil gets close to dry before watering. Sitting in water most of the time is not good. If there's water in the tray you could consider standing the pot on stones or something so it doesn't actually touch the water. Chopstick or skewer in the soil is a great way to check soil moisture below the surface where it is important until you become more familiar with watering.
When soil gets close to dry the pot needs to be well watered enough to ensure that water flows right through the soil and out the bottom. Water flowing through the soil helps change air in the soil to keep roots healthy.
Misting can help if the surrounding air is dry but can sometimes cause fungal leaf issues.
