I’m in the motherland for a week or 2. Been looking everywhere for a black monkey thorn but it seems like nobody has one at the moment and won’t get until I leave again. Now I’m looking for alternative acacia trees, everyone stocks paperbark acacia which seems brilliant because the flakey bark is a shortcut to a thicker looking trunk.

Now, I have to stuff this thing in a suitcase to go develop it back in the Middle Kingdom (中国).
So my question is this:
A) should I get a tiny tree that I can wrap up carefully?
Or
B) can I get a gnarly fat one that I can cut back hard for easier transportation?

It’s winter here, but I’m going into summer. What are my best options?
