Fall (autumn) cutting propagation of Ginkgo

Is it too late to try and propagate from cutting for Ginkgo? I live in so cal and there’s still some green leaves. Mostly yellow though

Might work with a mild winter, but you'll have better luck with fresh growth cuttings in May-June.

Hi,
Hardwood cuttings work fine (no leaves), but I would prefer mid-Summer.
