I would love your options on what to do with this olive I harvested five years ago. The left trunk has apparently died off just above the branches. there has been no growth above the branches in three years. Any future styling ideas?? I'm trying to upload a picture.

I think he's suggesting dead wood in the white areas. The left trunk will have to use the far left branch as the new leader so you'll need to do something with the rest of that trunk. Olives hold dead wood pretty well, so carving it into a feature is a good way to go. You've already got dead wood on the right side of the right trunk, so the two would relate to each other well. The base is great, and both trunks have similar movement.
