One of the first trees I ever bought. Unfortunately, that meant its first styling was about as terrible as you could imagine. I decided to reimagine it in the image of a mature Loblolly Pine, a tree which you couldn’t miss throwing a stone in any direction in the area of Virginia I live. Trimmed it back pretty hard to this basic silhouette and got some feverish back budding and vigorous extension on pretty much all the shoots I left. Tonight I began to style it up to suit my goal better and as sorry looking to many though it still likely is, from where it came from I am quite happy with this and think it may yet be something cool.
