Elm or hornbeam maybe? Please help

It's an elm. Unsure of the species. Where are you, and is this a volunteer seedling?

I found an elm like that today at my in-laws house....
No elms in the neighborhood, weird....
Might scoop it up.

in Oklahoma I found it in the corner of a small nursery . They said they collected it from someone's yard they were working

Ulmus parvifolia, lace bark elm, more than likely. We have a few planted on the property at the greenhouse and they volunteer EVERYWHERE. They look just like what you have, very small leaves...

Looks like Chinese elm, all right.
