Does Cut-and-Grow-and-Cut Work?

well does not seem so much optimistic, regular clip and grow takes already quite some time and they clearly say that this is a slower process (you don't just have those sacrifices once, you keep them two years, cut them, grow new ones for two year, cut them ect ect repeatedly)
 
Currently employing it on my bc for taper. More or less how I develop young pines too, obviously those branches have to be there from the start unlike bc
 
It works, but not really how it is described in that link. That site doesn’t appear to be written by an experienced hobbyist.
