Do you know this tree's species

Hi All,

Does anyone recognize this tree's leaves. I was gardening recently and these leaves fought back and i realized i don't recognize this species. It looks like it could be part of the ilex family, but not sure.

Looks like it might be Holly? how big are the leaves?

It looks like they are between 5 and 9 cm long and 2.5 to 4.5cm wide

Could be Holly - Ilex x altaclarensis which is a garden hybrid or perhaps a S African relative?

Yea, probably a Cape Holly or similar.
