Decandling and sacrifice branches

JBP calendar as I understand it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Spring:
*Repotting.

Early summer (June-ish):
*Decandle to balance growth, encourage back-budding, or getting branching.

Fall:
*Reduce shoots to 2. When I decandle just above the base of the candle, I usually get 3-4 shoots coming out of that spot. Fall is when we reduce to 2.
*Wire.

From a barebones perspective, sure. Would add in needle plucking when decandling and fertilization. Rest period

Have you seen @Brian Van Fleet JBP book yet?

Cheers

For the big one, I had some catching up to do to and a lot of work to be done on the apex, but I think it was necessary to do the work now, if a couple weeks late.
Next Spring, I’ll be more careful about selecting for bifurcation and removing buds from the top and bottom. And, I’ll see if I can get @Brian Van Fleet’s book so that I am not winging it so much. He knows his stuff in my experience.
