Cryptomeria (black dragon)

Purchased this in January from online orchards on amazon. Repotted immediately since it came with a half emptied pot to save shipping weight.

Only thing I've done is remove some growth so I could see the trunk and shape better. Probably just let grow now.

Used the pieces I trimmed off to experiment with cuttings. Used clonex and potted. See if they take or not. First time trying cuttings. About 26 cuttings in pots.

A friend of mine has an old one next to his driveway a bit over 7' tall.
Seems to be a slow go of it, then I hate having a fast grower that gets out of hand too fast.

Update After 16 days about half died and were dark brown the other half are green with light green tips.

green is good
