Could someone help me find a j.m. thread?

It was a progression, and I thought I saved it once but lost it. Was a really nice looking tree in almost an aged oak style. Seemed like the grower had fantastic growth in a short period as well! Does this ring any bells? I searched progression in this sub but I don’t believe it was there.

Well, I don’t believe that’s the one I was thinking of, but I’ll have to go back over it and read it more closely to make sure. It def has some similarities! Thanks for the tip though, that is a great thread!

I bought this palmatum in a nursery 3 years ago. here is the tree in november 2017->


In april 2018, i repot it in a large and flat woodbox + i cut the crown ->

The Young leaves of the beni tsukasa cultivar ->


In june of 2018 the summer growth starts ->


August 2018 ->


November 2018 ->


In March 2019, i repotted it to work on the nebari ->


April 2019 -> the new shoots are very long, i missed to pinch them


End of may 2019 (the summer growth starts) ->


July 2019...

This tree has so much movement, I swear that's called the tango! Simply spectacular!!!!!!
