Could i use this as cut Paste?

Possibly, but it seems to be a grease to stop moths and insects crawling up your plants. I’ve never seen or heard of anything like this before.
Does it say anything on the label about being suitable for sealing cuts on plants?

Maybe…..but it remains sticky….always. I visualize myself making a mess and unable to clean it up well….even when I really want it removed….and then the grease would likely stain the bark area well. Removing grease from a porous surface is difficult. I think there are better cut covering paste-like options.

Possibly.
As far as I can work out, cut paste works by excluding air from the area that's healing.
Cut paste works. Petroleum jelly works. Self adhesive aluminium foil works so why would fruit tree grease not work..

If you can make it to Swindon winter image show on Sunday you will be able to buy bonsai cutpaste for around £12 which will last years!

Plus you'll get to see the UK's top winter image show.

These are the most commonly used here and are putty types

I use this stuff, I'm not certain it isn't the same as cut putty. Works great. Even better when paired with Top Jin M paste, which is pretty much orange Elmer's glue if you ask me.

Would not use the grease. If it remains sticky it will be a bitch to remove and all kinds of crap could get mired into it. Duct sealant. Wood glue (Elmer’s etc) will work better and are cheaper. Some folks use Vaseline covered over with duct tape but it’s usually a mess to apply and remove

Ive tested vaseline just little bit only smaller wounds to prevent drying out the live tissue, i ran ou of cutpaste but it works fine, it remains there long term and gets messy so make sure not going on your tools etc but i think ill Just buy the regular cut paste on the trophy next week.

Ive seen this stuff before some people just put tape inside out around the trunk so the sticky side is outside prevents anything from climbing your trees as well

Top Jin has added hormones that promote faster cell division and growth. Lacking in duct seal and Elmers Glue. Not present in petroleum based grease, vaseline etc. Lets just say the alternatives do part of the job and can be used for modest results. When applying the aluminum adhesive duct tape it is even more beneficial to use the cut paste underneath for the same reason. Added growth hormones. Plus the tape maintains the moisture content in the cut paste for a longer period of time due to the extra protection. Some of the liquid cut paste needs to be used sparingly to avoid thicker scar tissue than desired. The little green bottle is the one to be careful with. Top Jin is on the top left. Basc cut paste the two packages below in 500 gram size.iIMG_1442.JPG
