I started this thread to keep a record on this Cork Oak progression, collected in the spring of 2019.

Next season, if the tree is healthy, I’ll cut the leader running horizontally (red mark). I won’t cut the top that same year, unless it becomes a lot more dominant. Unless aí start having taper ou node problems, I’ll do the least cutting possible until it has the desired girth.
