I am moving to a different house in August, so I’ve decided to significantly reduce my bonsai collection.

The trees that I’m selling are what I would consider beginner to intermediate material. They’re all trees that have been repotted into bonsai substrate and had a couple years of bonsai work applied. They’re mostly nursery stock or field grown material.

These are all going to be priced to sell. I’m definitely going to be taking a loss on these compared to what I paid from the nursery, soil, containers - and I’m totally fine with that. I really just want to move these trees along to another practitioner who may appreciate them. I just don’t have the space to keep them all.

Here’s what I’ve got:

-2 trident maples
-Japanese maple
-Rocky Mountain maple
-Japanese quince
-shimpaku juniper
-procumbens juniper
-boxwood
-pinion pine (nursery stock)
-pinion pine (young, small yamadori)
-sagebrush (yamadori)
-chojubai

Local pickup available. Shipping also available at the buyer’s expense.

Pricing ranges from $20-$50, but if someone wants to take the whole lot off my hands I’ll sell the whole package for $250, or best offer.

PM me if interested! Happy to provide photos of course. Im at work now but will follow up with photos in the next day or two, but wanted to go ahead and put this out there since moving day is in just a few weeks!

Thanks!

I would put an offer on that sagebrush... if I thought I could keep it alive 😅 still a bit too green behind the ears to risk it, I think. Good luck on the sale!

Need more pictures of these trees.

although, shipping trees in August heat could be problematic.

I just got back from the Columbia River gorge and was really in love with the sagebrush. What's the care like for such a tree? I'm new to bonsai, but if my climate here is suited for it, I think I'd love to give it a shot.

I appreciate the interest from all who commented and send me DMs!

I am very happy to report that all of these trees have been sold as a group package to a local buyer.

The sagebrush is also headed to a new home with a friend who is also local.

I appreciate this community and the friendships that BNut facilitates! 😃

Thanks!

From the 2 we saw here they were some awesome deals, and it's great to hear that they'll be happily cared for by someone local so they don't have to deal with the stress of shipping.
My only regret is not being local 😂

I am a little sad that I could get that sagebrush, but like @Perplexody , it's really just that i'm not local! I almost called my sister and asked if she would pick it up, but I'm happy that it doesn't need to travel.

Anyway, I've now officially added sagebrush to my list of trees. There are millions of them just over the Cascades from me, and I think it would be good to practice collection on, once i learn from some folks in my area, rather than a rarer, more sought after species.
Good luck on the move!
