Hi guys, so my friend has a hedge of hornbeams that he wants to reduce to make a path. I live in south of sweden where its pretty windy so the trees have made some interesting shapes, anyway the trees have just come into leaf so i was thinking if i could dig them now and repot them in a training pot or is it too late to do that now? Because ive been doing some research and some say don’t collect them after budding and the others say collect in spring (which is so conflicting and confusing). Also it’s important to mention that i havent cut the trees and they are about 1-1.2 metres tall.
