Collected Scotch Pine

My idea is to not think about styling at all for now. Maybe next year, maybe the year after.
You don't know yet how the tree will respond and you don't know if it keeps all the branches or not. Depending on the roots, you might flip the trunk 60 degrees to the right and end up with an entirely different possibility.
For now, focus on recovery. Scots pines can be tough, they are strong trees, but it's easy to care for them too little or too much. Try to find that balance and the styling part will show itself when the plant is ready.

While sound advice has been offered encouraging focusing on recovery and patience, I relate to "dreaming" about outcomes...

When appropriate how about changing the trunk angle? Tilting the snag so it's at about a 45⁰ angle to the left and developing a ( semi ? ) cascading limb or limbs is not difficult for me to envision. The broken trunk carved into deadwood and perhaps incorporating a stone... Just some ideas. Nice find.

ETA: Definitely agree with transplanting to a grow box or even into the ground if possible.

Agree with all points being made here. I will not touch this on a long while, I need to make sure it recovers.
A grow box is a good idea, but I should probably let it sit for a while and recover some before slip potting it into one right?

Changing the potting angle, either to the right or left, could definetly be very interesting, i'll wait and see where the tree wants to go
