Hello all
I have a question regarding cold stratification in the fridge.
The guide I had with my seeds state I should leave them in the fridge for 4-6 weeks.
I have also seen in a video and read somewhere online that you should wait for them to sprout in the fridge? Is this correct? I would have thought in nature it would happen when things warm up in the soil.
Thanks for looking.

Cold stratify for recommended time for particular seed. If they start to sprout before the stratification period is up, you can go ahead and plant. If you wait for them to sprout, you may wait forever.

Brilliant. I’ll sow them now then. Thanks for reply 👍🏼

Just plant the seeds in soil outside and wait for them to grow in spring. It works better than the fridge, provided you're not talking about acorns that squirrels might dig up.
