Hello nuts, does anyone recognize this chop mark? I’ve tried to highlight and translate but no dice. Photos of raw and highlighted. Thanks!! Bonsai on IMG_3276.jpeg

Look at photos 4 and 5. Zoomed out a little better reading. Number 16? In Japanese?

It says ”number 16” in japanese and or chinese. They use a number system for the size of pots. If you post a picture of the pot we can maybe place where it was made.

Whoa that’s cool. Thank you. Looks like number 11 sold for $25 USD. That seems extremely low even just material. Any valuation you can find?
You have to be careful comparing pots located in Japan and those already imported into the US. Importing adds to pricing here. Importers bear risk and have to make a profit to stay in biz. This isn’t an exceptional pot. It’s ok but not top of the line from what I can see. It may not be a bonsai specific pot. Single drain hole etc
