Good morning all! I have a lovely Chinese wisteria (see above) that I’ve been training up rather nicely. I am about to re-wire it to day after letting it grow this spring for the new branches and allowing it to establish a sacrificial branch so that it’ll thicken up the trunk a bit faster. Now I guess my question is how to wire the branch as I train the rest to be a semi-cascade? Or does it matter?
Also pardon the crazy long branch on top, I was having fun watching that one grow this summer. It was a running joke with a neighbor but it’s going to be tamed back down to fall in line with the leader.
