Hey all,

I have a Xanthoxylum Piperitum indoors for the winter under grow lights. It has yet to be repotted for some time now and I am looking to repot it this year. I see conflicting information about when to repot though. As it is inside during winter and outside during warmer months, should it be safe to repot now as it will still be indoors for the next 2 months or so? Or should I plan to do it over summer as recommended for some tropical/sub-tropical species? The tree is healthy now and shows no sign of stress if that has any impact on recommendations!

Thanks for any help!

Japanese pepper trees should be repoted in spring. Which makes sense if you think about it.
