Chili pepper bonsai progress

I grew some chili peppers this summer. One of the plants stood out from the rest, it had so much character I couldn't resist!

I put it in a new home today. It's been in a large pot with a few other plants.

And yes, that is a pot saucer

Update on the chili pepper:

It's alive. Barely! Overwintered it indoors in the window sill.

There's new buds all over the plant waiting to open up here soon
