I see decent things ahead for this. When re-potting, I think a no-brainer would be to bury it a little deeper, and give it a little more tilt to the left.
Grind out that stump on the bottom left and removed that embedded lava rock.
Then editing out that big branch/trunk in the rear, brings to life the taper in the trunk the foreground.
