I see decent things ahead for this. When re-potting, I think a no-brainer would be to bury it a little deeper, and give it a little more tilt to the left.

Grind out that stump on the bottom left and removed that embedded lava rock. :confused:

Then editing out that big branch/trunk in the rear, brings to life the taper in the trunk the foreground.

Been in the same townhouse for 10 years, and never paid attention to it because it wasn't any of my business. Then the HOA decided to flake on us, and give us back some landscaping responsibilities. Then when I started looking at our bushes, I saw a nice trunk line. Game on.
