Borat the BC

I think Borat is getting most of the nutrients from the moustache roots. All the budding is on that side. I might have to rethink how I will pot that tree in the future. I may have to make a special pot with the soil high on that side.
 
I think it would be neat to plant it at an angle and shorten the trunk a little more and make a crooked short and fat BC.

I thought about that. Planting at an angle would be OK if there is growth on the other side. Right now all the shoots are on the moustache side and planting on a slant means they will have to grow around the current trunk. My experience in the past doing it that way has not looked great. I am taking a wait and see tactics on Borat.

If Borat continues to be this way, I may make a pot that simulates a pond bank where the moustache roots are in the soil on the bank side. If remains dead, the other side will be carved out. A big hollow near the base and taper to the top is in my mind.

Something like this hastily done sketch.
PS: I don’t like the shape of the pot I’ve drawn but the concept is a multilevel pot with possibly a water feature down low.

Borat has characters in spades! It is going to fun playing with him.
