Bonsai Photo / Text Contest - July/August 2013

Well geez. :( That was entirely less of a "big deal" than it was supposed to be. Shame it wasn't hyped more. There's always next time. :)

Guys, I'm sorry to anyhow who didn't see this. However, here are our winners:

sawgrass - Durantra erecta ($100)
Brian Van Fleet - The Stump ($20)
fredtruck - Prunus Contorta ($20)
JudyB - Japanese White Pine ($10)
M. Frary - Eastern White Pine ($10)

Yes nice tree Stacey, and congrats to you and Brian, and Fred (you know I love your trees too!) and to M.Frary, keep us posted on your tree.
 
The least you guys could do for the hoard of us that missed the contest is to post pictures of the entrants and winners.
 
I just figured that after that lengthy conversation that everyone was just pissed about the whole thing. I didn't even think about it till the last day either, then went looking for it. I wish now that I had not.
As there seems to be hard feelings about this whole thing, I have deleted my entries. I wasn't that comfortable putting myself out there anyway. Apparently for good reason as it turns out. As they have not sent the award out, I'm informing them that I'm withdrawing. They can give the prize to someone else, or not.

I am sorry that you feel this way...
And would urge you to reconsider.

It's funny... everyone here is complaining that they weren't told, or didn't
know... But yet, I am sure if you were to go back and look at the post from
this time, you would definitely find them arguing over something stupid I am
sure !!!

Sorry... but it is not my fault or yours either Judy that they came to B-NUT looking
to find some stupid post to comment on, rather than joining in on something
positive !!!

By the way Vance... If you check out post #5 of this thread you would find
that I personally put out a Bump regarding this competition !!!
So, Sorry... as usual, you are incorrect.
