Bonsai Kogetsu Azalea

$350 seems high for that azalea. IMO, my guess is that nobody will buy it. I think that some of the pre-bonsai material (such as the BC) are priced to sell. Stuff that is too expensive just stays there for the allowed time or until the seller is tired of bumping his/her thread.

The ebay azalea perdon is just trying to for a bonsai newby with little common sense and with $320 to spare... Not that common I think.

All in what one is willing to pay and the degree one has put into the material. I personally would have jumped on the ROR...but, just spent funds on this tree last week on this bald cypress. And...I'm very pleased with winning so I don't feel so bad letting the ROR slide to another...I feel that ROR is well priced for what your getting. But, again...it's all in the eyes of the buyer what the material is worth to them. If it doesn't sell. Maybe I may work something out with Scott to send it along with the Neagari I already have coming.

Anyway....I don't ever remember telling them they are Fucking stupid for paying that much for an azalea....so I think this price may be high....

Wow, I think I just found out the name of the one that I have all of the cuttings form in my flowers thread. If I get 300 a pop for them, I got 3 grand worth, lol.

Seriously, though. That is a 3-4 year out cutting, not worth 300 dollars, unless you just gotta have one, then I guess it is priceless. Thanks for solving my mystery.

Darlene, that cypress has a nice shape to it, but is gonna be almost impossible to keep it that small. They are very strong growers. I tried for years to make a shohin or middle sized one and gave up. That one does look cool though.

Thanks...a lot of pinching back I'm told will be in my future...hope I can keep it relatively small. If not...I may have to part ways with it. I totally have a bump shoulder that limits my abilities in bonsai among other things. At the post office right now picking it up. Pretty excited to see it first hand.

I got most of mine at the flea market for five bucks, a few at the botanical garden's sale for 10-20, and a lot form cuttings that I have rooted for free.
