Ohmy222 Shohin Messages 465 Reaction score 655 Location Marietta, GA Mar 15, 2022 #4 Double line akadama is fine. What you show is a mix of akadama, pumice (hyuga), and lava (kiryu). That is a pretty goo mix for deciduous. Most will add more pumice or lava for conifers. Similar to the Aoki mix,

By the way i live in a very hot and dry place so i put more akadama on my connifer mix
