Bluebell Trimming

I live in Florida and curious how often I should trim my Bluebell? It’s grown like crazy in the few months I’ve had it. The first pic is after a minimal trim after I first bought it this spring and the second is a current pic

You definitely can trim to shape now. Pretty much all summer long if you want.

I think it looks quite nice in it's current leggy growth.

Before you start trimming, I would ask yourself what your goals are. Perhaps your goals are to give it a certain shape or set up a certain future piece of growth, but it also might be to make as beautiful today as you can.

I happen to think all of the above would lead you to trimming, as would the plans of most people with this true, but it's important to have a goal in mind before you start working.

I guess my main thought is development od the branches. I want them to thicken as quick as they can and curious if more frequent trimming helps with this?
