I have some experience with Junipers, but not this cultivar & I can't decide if this is normal winter "bronzing" or if it is dying..the tips are browning (see pics) and it looks like it is more than just the branch tips..it seems to be getting worse over the last few days, since we had the "big rain" here in so. Cal, over the Xmas/NY holiday. Can anybody advise me?

That's not normal bronzing.
Looks like it was under or overwatered for a while and the roots are having a hard time.

Hmm 10 days is usually not much of an issue, in my junipers - whatever species - I see drought issues in about a week, but wetness issues take about a month to express themselves.
Consecutively alternating it (been there, done that) between too dry and too wet can be devastating.

Either way, keep an eye on the soil humidity as long as it doesn't freeze. If it does freeze, the issues will persist after it thaws again.
There's not much you can do other than that.
If you do your next watering, whenever that may be, consider adding a tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide to your water. The oxygen and reactiveness of it will help prevent some infections and degrade a couple phenolic plant exudate compounds that delay recovery.
