Hi guys

I have black pine that always had needles lighter than usual but now it looks even more light and it is starting to worrying me. It also drops new foliage sometimes which probably should bot happen. If someone have any idea if something is wrong i would be appreciate any help.

Im from south brazil and it is autumn in here.

I would suspect there's a pocket of soil that doesn't drain as fast as other parts. What's on top looks like good soil, but how's the rest of the rootball?

Is it getting full sun and regular fertilizer applications? What about the pH of the water you use, is it acidic or basic?

Lighter green needles is usually a nutrient deficiency in my pines and usually a result of me being slack with the fertiliser program, though yours looks way better than many I've had here. Review fertiliser first then possible soil pH issues affecting nutrient availability.
If neither of those are likely I'm not sure.
