LOL I was wondering what you were up to
I thought you were talking about cultivars that stayed red all summer! Twombley's red sentinel, bloodgood, emperor one, etc. Osakazuki is a pretty cultivar - I have two in landscape. They are supposed to be one of the taller Japanese maples - up to 25' - though I only planted our two this spring so they haven't really started shooting up yet.
