Backdrop Design and Fabrication - PBE 2022-2024

Hey all,

We received a request from a couple people to provide more details about how to replicate the backdrops that were used in the 2022 and 2024 Pacific Bonsai Expo.
I went ahead and did a blog post with some photos and linked to a Google album of additional photos.

I was part of the breakdown on Sunday so I got to see it in its entirety. Love the thoughtfulness behind the approach Eric, as it was clear it was well thought out before reading your blog post. I do worry about the longevity of the key plywood pieces but def understand why that material was chosen over a hardwood or metal. With that said, most of them were still in great shape by Sunday! Go volunteers but nice when the system is well thought out and executed from the get go! My hope is when you open the boxes back up in two years you will appreciate the clean stacking of all these pieces that I was trying really hard to be anal about.
