Hello fellow Bonsai Nutz
A few weeks ago I gently removed these little pines from my friends deck. There were a bunch that had been growing, naturally, up out of the small spaces between the deck boards, so I decided to try and save a few. This little container was all I could find at the time. Being as we are moving into the fall here in New England, and then comes snow, I am wondering if I should place them all into some larger containers, with some better growing medium. Maybe some akadama, or soil, perolite and peat mix? Also, What size pots do you think I should put them in?
Thanks

Id leave them just like that and make sure they dont get too wet in the winter. Repot them in spring to larger container with a more free draining medium if you want and watering habits are adequate.

Thank you for your response. I’m in zone 6a/b, so it gets pretty cold here in winter, they should be fine, all 3 together in one tiny plastic container? Thanks!

So will these baby pine trees lose their needles in the fall, leaving nothing but a stem?
