AoB, KNOB are dead...check this out

Good luck to Paul - sounds like it was a bad experience with WH, but hopefully the new venture works out well.
 
I can only imagine how frustrating and sad it must be. Let's hope for the best for his future! The bonsai community is small enough... let's help each other out!
 
Good luck to Paul. I'm glad he's got the content from those sites. Some of it is very very good.
 
Gee that's realy funny, I found both sites still up. Is this the beginning of another jump on Will Heath post?
 
I'm puzzled: the earlier link did lead to a new site, but I -- curious about Vance's post -- also found AoB and KoB apparently up and running. Does anyone know what's actually going on?

I get it! Read the last link Chris posted, it is a link to a new site run by Paul Stokes who has appearantly baild on KoB. As to the demise of AoB, Paul has little or nothing to do with this site, and the last I heard (about an hour ago) AoB is not closing down. Personally I find this kind of an off handed way of promoting a new web site while pilorying another. I hesitate to post what I know of the internal working relationship between both sites but it is not what you think it is.
 
I will freely admit that I am not up to speed on what is going on with any of those sites. I agree that we want to avoid turning this into a finger-pointing thread. I assumed that one group of sites was closing while another was starting up. I think at this point it would be better to take a "wait and see" attitude as the dust settles. Parties from both groups are members here at BonsaiNut so let's keep it civil while they work through their differences.
 
I posted on AoB last week, admittedly after being gone for quite some time.
 
I wasn't posting to shill for the new site, but just pointing out that things had changed considerably.
 
As Paul stated on his new site..one of the reason was Will's problem with my pot. Since I know Will had also started a new site and saying his problem with my pot was resumed...so I just want to update that Will's problem with my pot IS NOT SOLVED YET. He is lying....

He gave me dozens of rediculous reasons and promises, but no action. I still receive emails from people paid but do not receive the shipment,he did not send to the contest winners as I sponsored..and he DID NOT pay me anything and no sale report as I have been requested, neither !!!
 
I saw it somewhere the other day... let me think I will repost if I think of it... I think I saw it on the facebook group.
 
Do we as a bonsai community want people like this in our midst?
