Any one had Tokoname pots cracked from being on the ground over winter?

No..The crack wasn't there before.

Was thinking something may have been dropped on the lip over the winter and cracked it. Impact chips is spalled and divot that leads to a larger crack. It's an outside possibility, particularly if you have kids.

That does look more like something hit it than spalling.

That’s what I said something fell on it and split the glaze off which is a form of spalling.

I had one where a foot came off when I tried to pick it up, and it was still a little bit frozen to the ground. Some degree of user error for sure, but it didn’t take much force.
