Hey everyone,
I bought this small guy from Erik Wigert at Wigerts bonsai. It stands around 4 inches tall and has a little over an inch trunk. My plans are exactly as follows:
Here is the front of the tree:
The problem I see is with the surface roots. They're mostly non-existent, and those that are there are big and ugly looking. So, I would like to cram some sphagnum moss in the area in red to get new roots growing:
