Another project. (Thuja)

A Thuja. Collected from a garden, what I assume was an rockary. Nice small roots with only two larger extending. Nice easy removal, potted up in a basket. After about Has been reoriented, cleaned, thined and minor wire to allow light to reach the branches and trunk. So we begin the recovery and foliage chase. Wish me luck

Hi Victorim,
Looks like a really nice trunk and good movement.
I just got a small problem with the “chasing branches” thing. I might be wrong but I thought Thuja had trouble back budding on old wood. Sorry for being negative nanny if I am right, and really hope I am wrong for the “chase” - cutting back to shrink the tree thing.
Looking forward to its development.

Looks like a really nice trunk and good movement.
I just got a small problem with the “chasing branches” thing. I might be wrong but I thought Thuja had trouble back budding on old wood. Sorry for being negative nanny if I am right, and really hope I am wrong for the “chase” - cutting back to shrink the tree thing.
