Another fig in the wall

This is another "crazy proyect" in order to use some of the cuttings that I have made.

Really is pretty simple; a "ruined wall" and a ficus growing over it, that is a perfect mach in nature, like this example in the Ta Prohm temple

In my proyect the wall is made of white concrete and pebbles


And the ficuses were put over there, with some sustrate by the way

Will the "composition" work? We will see in the next summer of 2025.

Dont last those roots for to long in soil, figs tend to grow ugly potato like roots

Here on my climate they are nor such agressive growers.
y put another fig over a dead branch two years ago

Ant it looks like this righ now

So one year review of the roots is enough to keep then in order ;)

Nigel Saunders built a small temple and has a fig growing on it much like your first photo. He did a nice job and the roots are growing over it like crazy.
