I found this one about an hour from home. There were two under consideration, but this one was the better of the two. If we go back before the end of winter, I’ll likely collect that tree as well.
There’s a small number of deer in the area of the industrial park, so they tend to keep some trees worked down. I know it’s unorthodox, but I might not do any structural major pruning to this tree for a while. Just let nature goes where it wants.
