Amur (ginnala) forest

Step one: throw a shit ton of seeds in a tray.

Step two: take a handful of seedlings out to grow separately.

Step three: ignore the ones in the tray.

There better be an odd number in there, or it's doomed!

Just starting this thread for tracking, not much to see. Have done literally nothing too it.

The same side has been facing the sun for two years - seems it's working to make a couple in the front stronger/thicker. I'll do some pruning to restrict/encourage as needed in the future.

I'll probably put it in a larger box this fall or spring to continue growing out. It's just a mat of roots in there now.

Do you have it on the ground ? If not I’d suggest doing that with too letting the roots escape

Nice dense forest. For such a small composition, one could easily get lost in that forest. I hope you have a park ranger on site.
