Carp, I am in Florida each winter and Ohio each summer. I doubt you can grow Ficus any quicker than me. Your post was wandering and odd, the inflammatory remark about the LBGT crowd seemed like it would be very offensive to them at best. Your tree looked different but maybe it was the buried root or the picture itself. I would suggest if you want to be taken seriously, first write seriously because when you write like a clown you are considered a clown by those who read you. This is not the sixties and you are no where near as interesting as Hunter Thompson. Secondly if you want to seem reliable about Bonsai, then stick to Bonsai. I am sure there are those who are interested in your girlfriend, your roommie, your parents,the length of your relationship, what you ate for breakfast or the last time you played with yourself but in a Bonsai Blog I would say those are odd and superfluous subjects. Your rambling diatribe made it seem like a hoax, definetly not something worth taking serious as it seemed by the tenor of your writing that you were not serious. Feel better now ?
Look I did not mean to hurt your feelings young man, I thought the whole thing was a hoax, that said I hope we can be civil if I ever am fortunate enough to exchange verbage with you again. Who knows, we may come to respect each other.
