All of juniper’s tips are browning?

I’m unsure why but every branch, every tip of the foliage is starting to brown, I also see either no or little growth on any of the foliage (in UK).

I used miracle grow all purpose fertiliser balls at the start of spring if that makes any difference. I used their recommended amount. This is a new thing and I can’t think of what’s changed?

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this has happened?

my nana juniper looks like this, the slightly browner tips are the new buds beginning to expand and a light frost can make them browner. Don't worry my junipers have not started to grow yet either. Put it in full sun don't over water and don't panic. I fertilize when I see growth in the spring not by the calendar.

I did actually notice this after a cold night that we had. I’m aware that a juniper can “take” light frost okay so I left it out knowing it’ll be a bit frosty. Well I hope this won’t affect its growth, I appreciate the reply!

It will be fine Junipers can take UK weather in there stride, I'm in Luton and my juniper buds are only a little ahead of yours. If you are further north than me you can expect thing to start a little bit later.

This is the first time I’ve had a juniper post winter so I’m new to their growth cycle

I'm always a bit nervous with trees I have no experience with but that part of the fun right? Watch the tree closely this year to see how it grows and changes with the season. I was shocked and thought I had killed my cryptomeria when it went bronze in the winter but that just what they do lol.

yeah I know right ahaha. I’m growing pomegranates from seeds and their leaves are turning red. I can’t seem to find any information about it either, nor do I know the specie as it was just a random pomegranate from sainsburys. Maybe I’ll make a post on here

The leaves on my dwarf pomegranate start off red when they come out of the bud and turn to green as they expand to full size.

Yeah, the new growth on the tree is like that. I believe it protects the new leaves from too much sun. But these are fully grown leaves that had frost damage (my own fault as I was away and forgot to check the weather ahead) and now they seem to be turning red? Not sure if you have any advice? I’ve been told to prune off all the damaged leaves. I don’t want to stunt the upward growth is my main concern

does look like slight frost damage, I would just protect from any more frost and let them out grow this damage. I would not remove anything yet either
