Afghan pine trunk chop

I think I have found two threads that’s discuss the Afghan pine in regards to using it as a bonsai subject. The info is mixed so I guess working this tree is going to be more trial and error than anything. If anyone has anymore recent info on them I’d appreciate it. Some have said it is a one flush pine while others say they get multiple flushes. One nice thing is that it seems to have lots of small buds on the trunk. Going for an eventual informal upright.

Interesting to see more uncommon tree on here. If wanting bigger trunk cut back has set you beck several years. Eventually when trunk developed would cut back to one of lowest branches to grow better trunk movement than exists today;).
