I don't have enough money to buy any of the beautiful yamadori lots of people sell. I'm not looking for a specific type, I like Junipers, pines, maples, pretty much everything. If you have anything interesting you would part with for around $100 post some pictures!! I live in Pennsylvania.

Where in PA? I picked up a small yamadori ponderosa pine from Jim Doyle for $100.00. He’s at Natures Way nursery in Harrisburg PA. Keep in mind that shipping is not cheap...I’ve paid $50 for a tree that cost $40 to ship.

Have a look at your local gregslist (graiglist?). Loads of people wanting to get rid of shrubs and bushed. You come with a shovel and willingness to dig and you get them for nothing. 'Yamadori' for 100USD or less are not going to be better than what you can grab from a backyard.

I'm located in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Civil war tourist spot 😂 Thank you for the advice, and your right

cheapest way is to go collect yourself. Permits in my area ar $10 per tree. You cant beat that!

I’m selling a collected Yew for $200. It’s awesome. I’m in Hoboken NJ

@B.uneasy you should look into joining the Susquehanna Bonsai Club. We have our planning meeting December 2nd and will be planning the coming year's events. Clubs are a great way to source material and info.

Are any Native Yamadori Yew growing in NJ? Not garden trees.

Does Natures Way sell their trees online ? I've been on their website several times and haven't seen one tree for sale on it. Thanks

I’ve never seen them sell online. I was at a workshop with Jim and he had brought some stock.

No but they aren't terribly far. They have a lot of trees. They're in Linglestown just north of Harrisburg.
