Hi Everyone,
My name is Dana from South Africa :)
I have a gorgeous old Wisteria Bonsai and I would love to find out more or less the value of her. And some advice on her styling.
Would love feedback ❤️
She is approximately 38 years old, purple flower.
Thank you so much.
Have an awesome day
D

I see people left reviews saying you do not deliver the paid for trees, and you have been reported to the "Scammer Alert South Africa" group...

Hello from the U.S. you have a nice wisteria. A big part of the value of a wisteria is how (and if) it blooms reliably. Wisteria under about 10 ( although it can go up to 20 years) are not mature enough to produce flowering. Grafted plants can bloom sooner because the grafted part may have come from a mature plant

Wisteria are an invasive weed here on the east coast of the U.S. it is a rampant weed that smothers trees and takes over yards. The climate here is in wisteria’s “sweet spot. As such there are thousands of collectible wisteria around. Ive collected many

To me it looks as though your wisteria is less than 20 years old. Don’t know if that affects its ability to bloom though

Value depends on availability as well. If this isn’t a common plant in yards and nurseries that would increase its value. Nurseries here sell wisteria this size for about $50 US.

I get them from the woods behind me for free. I’ve had my eye on the wisteria below for a few years. The photo shows the bottom four or five feet of the trunk. That much twisting g movement is not common in nursery grown wisteria so it adds value. Properly collected it might sell in the $500 range. If it blooms reliably and becomes established in a pot (which can be difficult as big trunks like this one can die back over the years) that might go to $1000.

Definitely not a scammer, I am not perfect, I have made mistakes, people are very unkind and unforgiving. No matter how open and honest you are with people about personal circumstances they will always point out the worst, forget about they years and years of good service and hundreds of happy customers countrywide
